besides taking photos.
I used to be a big time scrapper.
As in scrapbooking.
I have loads of books in the basement of the bigger kids. The younger ones…wellllll….I have loads of pictures. Just not so much books that I spent hours and hours on with photo corners, tabs, special paper, etc. Oh-and by loads of pictures? That means I have them. Not in paper form. The computer and back up drives hold some of my most cherished memories.
I still miss scrapbooking on occasion. It was a huge, time consuming hobby. With my number of kiddos, my time can only be divvied up in so many ways. The real, live little humans get most of my time. The rest is cleaning, cooking, driving, etc. All the other stuff that must get done. And of course, the blog (which has been neglected this year so far. We’ll see if I can get back into it).
Back to this post.
Something I love doing.
I love, LOVE coming up with invitations/cards/crafty stuff.
Here are a few examples:
This was the back of Saylor’s first birthday thank you’s.
Saylor’s subway art for her first birthday. I have this framed in her room. I love it.
Shayne’s birthday party invites from this year.
Stormy’s thank you’s from last year. She had a rock n roll theme.
The back of Saylor’s first birthday party invites…
Cooper’s thank you’s turned out pretty cute.
Connor’s thank you’s.
Crazy Sage’s.
I also have a few pages designed for a 12 x 12 scrapbook. Because I still love the idea of scrapbooking. The timing is just off. So digital scrapbooking is an alternative for me.
So…now you know something else about me that I love to do.
I think you got the creativity for both of us because your creations are simply beautiful!
