I can’t believe I didn’t take any pictures of all the food I cooked. It was so delicious though!
I did take a few pictures of the crazy that was happening…
So we ate dinner, played some Wii, talked and then sent kids up for showers then fresh jammies and of course, posing for some pictures!
Something else I haven’t mentioned yet…My Twinkie!
Every Christmas Eve she comes out for dinner and festivities. This year she brought someone we all like and his Mom! (I got the sweetest photo of her (Sheila) holding Saylor but since I don’t have their permission, I’m not going to broadcast their image on blog universe. But trust me, it’s cute!)
My Twinkie and I. She’s just…gorgeous.
After dinner and while the kids played some and Bonnie and her company were still here, I baked a fresh batch from scratch chocolate chip cookies. Shayne helped and she is getting so good in the kitchen!
Then Bonnie and her company had to leave.
For the first time, I decided someone could open all of their presents.
It was…
Paul. Yep. Why?
Because I had nothing under the tree and for Christmas morning I decided to just let it be the kids opening gifts.
And no. I really did NOT have any thing under the tree. What I got from Paul for Christmas I’ve had for a few weeks.
I’ll tell you about it soon.
So Paul opened all of his gifts (which he was happy with all of them) and then it was…
COOKIE TIME!
Everyone got one cookie before bed.
And no one, NOT A SINGLE KID whined when it was time to go to bed.
After they got the Santa thank you ready…
Hot chocolate and 3 cookies.
Of course after the kids go to bed is when the real work begins.
And ends around 1:30ish.
Looking like this:
How did Christmas morning go?
Stay tuned!
Thank you Sissy. I know the score on the gorgeous though and you're it.
