Our little getaway…

So Paul and I hit the road Friday, the 16th of March.

Without kids.

DROVE ALL DAY.

Where did we go?

Well…that is the view from our room. It was the 12th floor. Of a decent hotel. Or so I thought. More on that next time!

What did we do that first evening?

Walked around the downtown area.

Homeless people asking us for money.

Lots of artsy folks around every corner. Singing. Guitar playing. Etc.

Then ate dinner.

It was the best steak I’ve EVER had.

Ruth Chris’. Heard of it?

Sooo…good!

Guess I better stop drooling on my keyboard.

What next?

We thought about swimming. But the pool area had like 15 kids and 20 adults. Too crowded!

So then?

We were in bed and asleep before 10.

Such an old married couple.
