Where were you?

Where were you ten years ago? That moment will forever be in mind and heart.

Today, I will remember to tell my loved ones how much they mean to me.

I will remember to say an extra prayer for those that were murdered that day.

I will remember to say an extra prayer for all the heroes from that day and the days since.

I will remember {as I always do} how proud I am to be an American. For those that aren’t…you have the freedom to leave. Don’t let the door hit you in the hiney on your way out. *This is a sensitive subject. My family has roots in the military. My grandfather. My uncles. My Dad. My Father-in-Law. My cousins. For those that stand in this country and hate the way everything is done…or hate everything about this county…GET OUT. Simple as that. Find somewhere else that will put up with you.

As for me on this day…I will never forget.

  1. You and I were running around like maniacs trying to get you to your appointment. And after witnessing all that destruction...I got to hear my sweet nieces heartbeat from inside your tummy. A future growing in the midst of destruction.
