So my father-in-law sent me an email and told me about a cool show to check out.
So…we loaded up and went!
What is the CAF? this is from their website
The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) is a non-profit aviation association dedicated to Honoring American Military Aviation through Flight, Exhibition and Remembrance.
The CAF has more than 9,000 members within 75 units worldwide that fly and restore the CAF's fleet of 171 vintage warbirds.
I’m not going to say everything their website can show you.
I’m going to show you some pictures…
This is a B-29. CHECK OUT THE INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE ABOUT THIS FLYING MACHINE! It is nothing short of spectacular!
There was also this thing for the kids to sit in with a helmet on.
This is the only one left like it: (the wings fold up. I can’t remember what it is called but I’m sure the website has it!)
This we got to see fly.
No. They don’t know me or that I’m posting this blog post. BUT I still want to say…GO CHECK THIS OUT. It is history that you can see and touch and be amazed. And if you’re not…it’s still really cool!
That looks like a place my family would love to go, I will have to check it out! Love that the kids are all wearing their red white and blue!!!
