I went for a walk one day…

Saylor’s first trip in the jogging stroller.

Not that I was jogging…until I had to. More on that in a second.

What did Saylor think of her ride?

Not a lot.

That could because Sage spilled her whole drink all over and I didn’t realize it until much later. Not winning any mom awards for this I assure you.

Anyways…off we go. We walked all the way down and around our area.

Everything was good. Sage was doing pretty good at keeping up. Saylor decided to nap and Coop was excited about everything he saw.

I was also jamming to my music on my phone.

As we got to about 2 blocks from home (after walking for 1.5 miles) I realized it was quiet. Too quiet.

Where was my phone with my music playing?

Oh.crap.

I turned around and told Sage to hurry her little hiney up! We go back the way we had come.

I was hauling my booty, pushing the stroller and pulling Sage on her little bike.

My phone?!?!

With no insurance because Paul and I decided after paying for insurance for 7+ years and not using it ever…was a waste.

I am panicking. My phone with no insurance could be anywhere. It had fallen off the stroller.

I go back a few blocks. In the middle of the busiest road we crossed, I see something.

White case.

Face down.

Still playing music.

I am shocked that it didn’t get run over. Seriously. It’s a busy street. Near a fire station.

Since we had already gone back…I decided that we should just go all the way back the same way we had come.

By the time we made it home, I was exhausted. Sage was exhausted. Coop was restless. Saylor was starving.

So that was our walk.

An exciting walk to say the least.

  1. Anytime you want a walking partner, let me know. I struggle to get myself walking alone (well i'm never alone but without adult conversation).
