The other night I was running around like a crazy person trying to get to ball games at two different locations. After the last game, I was ready to load up all the kids and go home and put them to bed.
BUT…
I stopped.
They wanted to play for a few minutes at the playground.
I was [this close] to saying NO!
I stopped. Looked at their dirty faces and sighed.
Yeah. Sure. Why not?
While I was watching them play…I glanced over and saw this:
Yep. A beautiful sunset.
A reminder.
Slow down. Take in the beauty around you.
I’m beyond happy that kids seem to do that on their own.
The day after the sunset, while driving the kids were talking about the clouds and the shapes they could see. I still love to do that. One of the perks I guess to no TV in the car. They have to use their imagination!
