On one beautiful day, after picking Shayne up from a late day at school, I decided to surprise the kids and head to the park!
So…here are some of those pictures!
Connor…he had a blast. It’s so fun to see him playing with kids he doesn’t know but isn’t afraid to ask to play!
Can you see Sage? She’s the one leaning out and yelling, “MOMMMMMMYYYY!!!!”
Shayne…
Sage wanted to swing
I love the next one: 3 of my darlings are in it.
Cooper loved the swing!
Coop’s favorite thing?
He got to actually play on stuff!
And of course, Shayne, being the best big sister in the world…took her baby brother down the slide.
There aren’t very many of Stormy…she was flying around the play area like a crazy woman.
And I had to “yell” at some other kid.
This lady with 15 of her daycare kids (yes 15. She had one “helper” there. He was her son and he as talking to another teenage girl) was a little preoccupied…one of her kids, thought it would be funny to pin Sage inside this tunnel thing and not let her by. I was standing there and could hear her. My response?
“LET HER OUT OF THERE RIGHT NOW. DO NOT TRAP ANY KIDS IN THERE.”
All of a sudden the tunnel was cleared and the kids wouldn’t play near that again. The kid in question? Was Stormy’s age. Old enough to know that it’s not okay to torment a 3-year-old little one.
I wouldn’t leave right after that either. I wasn’t going to let some bully decide when it was time for us to leave. His babysitter (Nanny’s daycare) was un-phased. We left a short while later. After a few more slide rides and giggles.
Looks like they love the park and I really can picture your face while talking to the kid in question....scary!!!
