I am struggling

with what?

Well a few things but what specifically am I talking about now?

LOSING WEIGHT.

I recently (as in last night) looked back through photo folders on my computer. It was a real eye opener for me.

I know what the scale says.

I also know I don’t recognize the chick in the mirror looking back at me.

I weigh really close to what I weighed when I gave birth to Shayne…10.years.ago.

Yes. 10 years ago. 5 healthy babies delivered in that time frame as well as 2 angels…

So I know where the weight came from.

SO WHY ISN’T IT GOING WITH THEM AS THEY GET BIGGER?

Sigh.

I was working out.

Was.

I am getting back to that point to doing it again.

I was waiting for the cramp in the arch of my foot to go away.

I think it’s just an excuse at this point.

So…

Any ideas or tips for someone like me?

I’m all ears…and belly…and thighs…

sigh.

  1. Couple of things:
    1. You are NOT Fat!(I was fat but now I refer to myself as pleasingly plump) lol

    2. Get your thyroid checked! Aunt Charlene has had problems with hers for years.

    3. No pop.

  2. I couldn't help noticing your post, and your frustration... obviously you didn't put on the weight overnight (no one does) and can't expect to lose it quickly... you should plan on no more than 2.2 lbs lost each week if you want to keep it off long term. Coincidentally, I ran across a good article online today titled "3 Reasons You're Not Losing Weight" that I'm sharing with a new fitness client who weighs 240 lbs, she's about 100 lbs. overweight. I will email it to you Debbie, hope you don't think I'm butting in too much, just trying to offer a little advice and encouragement! Keep going, you will get there.

  3. Sissy I think you're kinda awesome the way you are. Just you. But, I'll help if you want. Tell me what. And don't listen to Mom - caffeine withdrawal sucks LOL. Just switch to Diet or Zero. And I still have my Slim 4 Life stuff.
